Wow! Today was quite a challenge to get any type of workout in. I’ve been strictly running since the end of November and thought I better start swimming again. I knew the gym is bad in January, full of all the well intentioned trying to improve their health. I typically work out all year round, but tend to avoid the gym in January since it is crowded, stuffy and hot.
Since I work for myself, I tried to think when the least busy time is and chose 10:15am , boy was I wrong!! Good thing I decided to swim as there wasn’t any cardio machine available. There were lanes open amazingly! But afterward, I had to wait in line for a shower and then there wasn’t a spot open to put my makeup on and dry my hair, so I left sopping wet with no makeup on! Guess I’ll go back to running for a while until the gym lightens up, that was ridiculous!
