Haven’t been doing much longer distances since May really, this was my first 7 miler in a long time.  I felt really good afterwards, but now my Achilles is starting to ache- ouch!

I have been looking for some wireless headphones and finally found some on Amazon that are amazing!  They are called Arriva and retail for about $35.  The phones are stretchy vinyl coated and form fit to your head/ear.  I have a very small head and have problems fitting hats etc. and I was able to custom fit the unit.  The shuffle actually clips into the headphones on the back of your head/neck, I know it sounds weird, but you never even know the unit is there.  It doesn’t interfer with my sunglasses, hat or even when I lay down to do bench presses, they are awesome!!

I haven’t been in the pool since June 5!  I’ve done a few open water swims over the summer, but didn’t keep track of time/distance.

I only swam about 1900 yards and it just about killed me!  I plan on joining Master’s again once the kids are back in school, but need to work up to doing 2500+ yards in an hour- yikes!!

Haven’t gone for a longer run in over a month and I can feel it!  I decided to do my annual Zeitgeist Half Marathon in November, so I have to get my butt moving!
